I began by painting watercolour landscapes. Now I love using oils and acrylics, and experimenting with colour to face the challenges of abstract painting.

My creative journey started as a child, when I won a few school art competitions, and which has continued with various adult courses throughout my life.

When I lived in Ipswich, I was lucky enough to be taught by John Constable, a descendant of the John Constable.

I paint landscapes, but find that my forte is painting still life and portraiture. I try to pick up the essence of the sitter in my work.

STUDIO: The Quaker Meeting House is a light, pleasant and warm environment. It is a nice welcoming building and an excellent place to work.
