Yorkshire Artspace is one of the largest and most established studio providers in the UK, currently offering affordable workspace to over 100 artists and craftspeople in 4 buildings in Sheffield.

Artists at Manor Oaks Studios are open on 5th, 12th and 13th May and artists at Persistence Works/Porter Brook Studios are open on 12th and 13th May from 11am to 5pm. (Please note that there is no disabled access at Porter Brook Studios).

At Porter Brook Studios (next door to Persistence Works) artists: Mary Charlton and Chris Boland (jewellery/silversmithing), Lynn Carruthers and Sue Taylor (sculpture/mixed media), Tim Rose, Paul Dearden and Trevor Pollard (painting/printmaking).

And at Persistence Works Studios (21 Brown Street, Sheffield, S1 2BS) artists: Robert Almond, John Thatcher and Anna Childs (furniture), Sarah Villeneau, Brian Holland, Emilie Taylor, Hanne Westergaard and Katharine Boyd (ceramics and glass), Ross Gilbertson and David Appleyard (sculpture/mixed media), Carol Lambert, Madeleine Walton, Isobel Walker and Rosemary Watson (painting/printmaking) and Heather Dewick (book binding).

With Tea & Cake sale on Saturday 12th May at Persistence Works Studios. Proceeds will be donated to the Cavendish Cancer Care centre as part of the Master Cutler Challenge.

DIRECTIONS: Persistence Works and Porter Brook Studios are situated within a 5 minute walk of Sheffield Station, past the Showroom Cinema along Paternoster Row to Brown Street (opposite the Rutland Arms pub).

Manor Oaks Studios are less than two miles south-east of the city centre, beyond Manor Lodge, (a 10 minute walk from the Windsor pub, Southend Road, Wybourn, on the 56 bus route).
